The 2024 Savana 3500 is powered by a 4.3L V6 engine that produces 276 horsepower and 298 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. While towing or hauling a heavy load, you can select the Tow/Haul mode to minimize excess shifting.
If you find yourself traveling on a slippery road, an available Stabilitrak Stability Control System improves the GMC Savana 3500’s stability by reducing traction loss. An Automatic Locking Rear Differential feature is also available to boost traction in slippery road conditions. A Hill Start Assist feature is available to prevent your van from rolling back and hitting other vehicles or objects when you are stuck in traffic in a hilly area.
