Before technology was invented, road trips were enjoyed with games. The alphabet game is a classic road trip game. In the alphabet game each passenger goes through the alphabet using words that they find on signs.
The words must be found in alphabetical order. You can use billboards, businesses, and road signs. However, you cannot use license plates. Once a word is used, no other passenger can use that word. The winner is the first passenger to find a word that begins with every word of the alphabetical (going in alphabetical order).
This game is both fun and academic. It is great for (younger kids) to have practice with letters. It is also great for adults to keep their brains up and thinking. This game is sure to keep all passengers (regardless of their age) entertained for hours. You can play it as many times as you’d like!
